Happy Friday! How does a giveaway sound to kick off your weekend? I am thrilled to be collaborating with Bend Soap Company today to bring you the chance to win three bars of their amazing goat milk soap! Hint of Lavender smells amazing – I will definitely be ordering it next!

My toddler suffers from eczema, and bath time always meant dreaded post-bath dry skin. I saw a Facebook ad a couple months ago for their Oatmeal and Honey goat milk soap for eczema and decided to give it a try when I saw how clean their ingredients were. I am glad I did, because this soap is so incredibly soothing to her skin.

“Ingredients: Fresh Goat Milk, Saponified Coconut, Olive & Palm Oils, and Essential Oils. That’s It!” In a world full of toxic-ingredient eczema soaps, this is an amazing find!

Bend Soap was started by the Johnsons, a farming family whose son also suffered from eczema. They saw wonderful results using soap they made from their goats’ milk, and soon Bend Soap was born.

So, did using this soap completely heal her eczema? No. I didn’t expect it to. Eczema is a complicated condition of skin inflammation, very often caused by any combination of gut issues, allergies, and environmental sensitivities. Bend Soap understands that, and has a whole page on their website dedicated to better understanding eczema.

However, this soap has truly helped Philomena’s skin. The patches on her arms and the back of her legs are greatly improved the last few weeks, she requires far less moisturizer on her skin, and she is not extra itchy anymore after a bath. The anti-inflammatory properties of the goat milk soap really have helped her.

I started using the bar myself and can say my skin feels smooth and hydrated, and I am even able to lather it up and use it in place of shaving cream!

When I reached out to Bend Soap to see if they would be willing to send me a sample to give away, they were so kind as to send two full-size bars of their Hint of Lavender soap, and one travel-size bar of their Lavender Blossom soap!

You have up to four chances to win this giveaway by entering below using Rafflecopter before midnight next Friday, September 29th, 2017. Please let me know if you have any questions.

  1. I have been so interested to try Bend for a few months now but haven’t pulled the trigger (out of pure forgetfulness…haha!) My husband has very sensitive skin and has passed that onto our daughters. Conventional soaps make his skin soooo itchy so he hates showering, but obviously does it anyway. I’m interested in the soaps for him and in the deoderants for myself! I have sensitive under arms and conventional deoderants make things worse. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

    1. If you don’t win, definitely give them a try anyway. Their soap is so hydrating and I do think there is a good chance it would help your husbands itchy skin if my daughter’s success is worth anything. I haven’t tried their deodorant yet. I am getting some more soap, a lotion, and a milk bath from them later this week, but next time I will have to try the deodorant! Thanks for popping by and entering!
