“My Catholic Faith” is my favorite catechism/reference book for my Faith. Each topic gets two pages including detailed illustrations. If you ever wonder “What does the Church teach on…” this probably will have your answer. With the forward written by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, you know it is a must-have. It can be previewed and purchased here.
“Catholic Apologetics” by Fr. John Laux is another classic I enjoy. It was a course in high school that stuck with me. Fr. Laux has several other books in this series on the Mass, the Sacraments, and the Bible, but I think this one on apologetics is my favorite. It can be purchased here.
This is my favorite prayer book for wives and mothers. It has a prayer for pretty much anything related to our vocation: for spouses, specific needs during pregnancy, birth, sickness of children, and even wonderful instructions and information on raising a family. It can be purchased here, and the father’s manual is found here.
Sensus Traditionis is the website of Fr. Chad Ripperger which contains many wonderful talks and sermons to listen to on almost any moral or theological topic you can think of.
Luke1128.org and Regina Prophetarum are both current collections of sermons, homilies, parish missions, and conferences given by traditional priests in full union with Rome.
My favorite Catholic publishers are Mediatrix Press and TAN Books.
The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest are groups of priests who offer the Traditional Latin Mass in full union with Rome. If you are interested in the Latin Mass, I would highly recommend seeing if there is a parish from one of these groups near you!
